英特爾成都封裝測試廠是英特爾全球三大晶圓預處理工廠之一，2003年宣布建廠，三次增資，截至到2014年11月總投資額達到6億美元。“成都芯片組業務”使用英特爾最先進的封裝技術來組裝芯片組；“成都微處理器業務”為世界各地的計算機生產微處理器。2014年12月，英特爾宣布將在未來15年投入16億美元引入最新“高端測試技術”并全面升級成都工廠。成都封裝測試廠已成為英特爾全球重要的生產引擎和移動設備新產品首發試制基地，也是英特爾響應中國政府“西部大開發”政策的重要戰略舉措。
